Whispering and Play Fighting

Often when Cooper is nearby I whisper to him.  "Who is a gorgeous boy?", or "You are my best boy".

He knows the game, and cocks his head from one side to another to express agreement with my words.

This "sweet boy" is never happier that when he is play fighting at a park.   The play fight is not always with other dogs.

We were at Bayfront Park this morning, (17th St. Park being closed on Tuesday mornings.)  There were no other dogs at Bayfront but we came across one of our human friends by the name of Bob.   S.B. and I call him Bob the Brat; he is over the top larger than life..

Bob likes to play fight with Cooper.  Cooper is up to any challenge.

Later in the day we were at 17th St. Dog Park.  Coop had slim pickings when it came to play fights with other dogs; just enough but not enough.

The time came for us to leave.  I looked towards the gate. There was my gentle sweet dog play fighting with a man I didn't recognize.

I called out "thank you for playfighting with Cooper".

The man replied "Oh I love Cooper.  His disposition is great.  This was fun!"

Cool for me, cool for Bob, Cool for Cooper, and Cool for the stranger at 17th St. Park.

I should be so lucky!
