SHROVE TUESDAY 2025   CREPE WITH BANANA AT MADEMOISELLES PARIS RESTAURANT


A treat.  Breakfast with Donna and Ashley.

The best part was our server CoCo.   Born in France and now a resident of the U.S.A,  she knows how to be friendly and helpful without being overbearing.

Michael -Show-Off -Povey greeted her in French and ordered his meal in that language.

My French language skills are at the level of Winnie the Pooh whilst Coco's are at the level of War and Peace.  

Nonetheless she was tickled pink that I tried.

Donna, Ashley and I had a lovely time -  thanks to good food and to Mme. CoCo

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT  1.  I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash.  I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
