High Drama At The Park

Two dogs (sisters) decided to have a serious fight with Cooper this morning.

It was a struggle to separate the three dogs.

Cooper escaped injury.  I didn't!

Nurse Cooper renders first aid.

The dogs, slender and about 35lbs. are probably pointers of a sort, though the breed is irrelevant.

What is relevant is that the same thing happened with the same two dogs a few weeks ago:

A scary encounter took place at our morning visit to 17th Street  Park

Cooper and I entered the double locked gates into the dog park.  We were followed by two dogs whose owner had them off leash.

Within the "cage" created by the double gates the two off-leash set upon dear Cooper.  It was harrowing.

The owner of the offending dogs pulled them out by the scruffs of their necks.

Cooper and I made a safe entry.

The owner of the other dogs was mortified. He knew that he had erred.

Mortified or not he needs to keep closer eyes on his two dogs when they are at the park.
