Chicopee MA 1982/3 and now






I was the Vicar at St. Christopher's Church.   At a Christmas service I heard Gesu Bambino for the very first time.   It was played on the flute (with organ accompanist) by a young woman whose last name was Hoover - I regret that I forget the first names of the Hoover sisters.

I WAS ENCHANTED

The other day I was racking my brain (to no avail) for the name of the music.

This morning WSMR  our local Public Radio Classical Music Station  came to my aid.   The Station played Gesu Bambino as sung by the incomparable Jessye Norman.

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is.
