A New Park For Cooper (but no photo's of him)

17th Street Park is a five-minute drive from my home. It's huge, (I've not been able to discover the acreage)

I like the smaller Arlington Dog park 'cause Cooper is never out of my sight, and there are fewer dogs at play.

This afternoon we "tested the waters" at 17th Street.  Mr. C had a ball as he played, chiefly with three border Collies. One tried to hump Cooper who would have nothing of it.

It was time to leave. Cooper was a distance away.  I told another dog owner that C often feigns deafness when I call his name.

I called Cooper's name.  He was about 300 yards away.  He proved me to be a prevaricator as he ran to my side immediately 







The City of Sarasota; and Sarasota County have provided a goodly number of dog parks.  That's great. Our canine friends need free time "off the leash".

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is.
