80 years equals family Fifty plus of us. My five remaining sibs and their spouses. Nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Cousins, second cousins, third cousins A joyful and relaxed family reunion. Super food. Great food for children with activities for them too, including face painting. This 80-year-old child wore a birthday coronet and insisted on having his face painted. A marvelous family reunion; and the greatest celebration of my four score years.
I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist. The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment. She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that. Then the light dawned. Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon. He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel. I fell down. And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes. No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT 1. I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash. I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
