Fitchburg/Leominster Floods part two

 I think that Fitchburg escaped the worst.  The scenes from Leominster are heart breaking.

 
During my time in Fitchburg the Army Corps of Engineers had a plan to building a dam on Ashburnham Rd, to protect River Rd and the Valley.
 
The proposed dam would have been near Beth-Eden Baptist Church.
 
The plan was abandoned -  and so was the chance to refer to the Dam Baptist Church!
