Using up the Lamb Shoulder (Shepherd's Pie Anyone?)

                         Re-purposing left over Lamb shoulder.


Shepherd's Pie created today

Often made in my U.K. youth to recycle leftovers from a Sunday Lamb Dinner.    A peasant food?  Certainly the poor peoples Monday  food. 

If the leftover was Lamb it was repurposed into SHEPHERD'S PIE

If the leftover was Beef it was repurposed into COTTAGE PIE.

Lamb = Shepherd's Pie

Beef = Cottage Pie

WASTE NOT WANT NOT EH?

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT  1.  I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash.  I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
