I Love My Birthday! THANK YOU!

Facebook works like a charm on our birthdays. For instance  I've been delighted to receive  more than three score birthday greetings. WOWSER

And there have been old fashioned birthday cards, and a few 'phone calls for Michaelday!

Some have suggested a Feast of Cake.   Not a chance unless it is traditional British Fruitcake without layers of sickly sweet frosting.  I am a Fruitcake snob, and proud of it!



My celebration was low key and lovely.




A steak Quesadilla at our local Reyna's Taqueria with my dog walking fraquaintances Kent and Joan, who are about to move to Delaware.

WHO COULD ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE?

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT  1.  I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash.  I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
