What I Saw in a Short Drive

In a short drive with Zion to Sarasota's Arlington Park I saw:

The aftermath of a minor Bumper Stumper accident on South Beneva, involving two cars. No one was injured.

Attending the accident scene were FOUR Police SUV'S

FOUR

Not one policeman was guiding the backed up traffic.

A bit later on I saw a 40 something Amish Woman on her electric scooter as she checked her mobile 'phone!

Sarasota is a host to a seasonal Amish community.  Far from the Amish heartlands our guests let up on their strict discipline.

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT  1.  I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash.  I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
