First Cataract Surgery (left eye)

 





Procedure is at 12:35 p.m.  on Thursday 6th April  (In my mind I thought it would be in the morning!)


I have friends who will drive me to the Clinic (about 25 minutes journey).  SARASOTA  FRIENDS -  the clinic is on the north side of Clark Rd, a wee bit west of Honore Ave

Procedure  will take about two hours.

They will wait for me and drive me home.

On Friday 7th  I will have a check up at 7:30 a.m. SARASOTA FRIENDS the check up Clinic is on Bee Ridge at the south end of the old Westfield Mall.

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT  1.  I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash.  I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
