I saw it, but I didn't know what I'd seen. (Department of Stupid.)

 Tuesday 8th Nov 2022,  4:00 a.m.


I took Zion out for his daily early morning "lifting the leg" ceremony.

I saw what I thought  to be a bright waxing moon.  "That's odd", I thought,  "it was full moon yesterday".


By 6:30 a.m. I was at Bayfront Park SRQ.  Michelle, one of the fine City workers asked "did you see the eclipse"?

I responded " I didn't know there was supposed to be an eclipse".

DUH    What I seen was not a new moon, but the final stages of a lunar eclipse.

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is.
