I Miss You So Much


I miss you my beloved dishwasher, mid-May for your replacement seems so far away.

My new sinks are much smaller than the old, and the spray attachment for rinsing doesn't reach very far.  So this is the right hand sink which I filled with cold water to rinse some hand-washed dishes..   

'Twas fine until I unplugged it, then there was a minor under-sink flood. 

My good handyman hadn't noticed  a hole in the drain pipe a hole into which the exit pipe from the dishwasher will eventually go.  

Good ole Dave stopped by and created a temporary fix with the help of a wine cork which just happened to be in my trash. 


 
A back up draining board. Today  I used up some leftover veggies and tomatoes to make soup.  Here is  the soup, cooling before I place it into smaller containers for freezing.  Meanwhile the soup pot and the blender are draining on a towel.

Reminds me of the ultra small kitchen in my Medford, MA condo where every square inch had to be pressed into useful space.

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is.
