Mario and the Missing Walking Stick

Image
When Cooper and I arrived at Bayfront Park yesterday (2nd Feb) morning it was to find that my trusty "third leg" - a walking stick - was nowhere to be found in the car.  It's essential for our walks. Cooper was good enough to do his business within three minutes of our arrival at the park. We drove back to my home to get my "spare" and off we went to the 17th St. dog park. A Random Act Of Kindness at the 17th St. Dog Park

Image
Starting the Day with a Smile Joe, a stranger to me, was at the 17th St Dog Park. His dog was more interested in getting attention from humans than running around. I fussed over the dog. I talked with Joe about our dogs.   I pointed out Cooper.  Joe said, "he just pooped" ( I had not noticed). Joe insisted on walking the 300 yards or so to the poop scene to pick it up for me. WAY TO GO!   Starting my day with a kind act from a complete stranger.   So good amidst the doom and gloom which sometimes seems to dominate. I smile as I write.
