Anniversary

 


My friend Ashley had this Tee Shirt made for me.

I wore it today (Sat 25th) as tomorrow is the first anniversary of his death.

I miss him; of course I miss him.


I waited for six months before I was ready to adopt again.  

In June of this year Cooper came to live with me.

He is as wonderful as Zion, albeit in very different ways.

  Some will remember that when I bought a new iPhone last December I *through my own fault* lost all the contact info and photo's on my old 'phone, 'Twas frustrating. I took my old bones to a Verizon Store (on University Parkway, Sarasota) to ( as they say in the U.K. ) get it sorted. Get it sorted they did.  Thanks to Eduardo and his patient attention (and because I could supply a couple of passwords) all that had been lost was recovered from the Cloud in about forty minutes. ¡Ole! This Photo' Arrived Out Of the Blue: A 12/13 years old jmp and others.

  It came from one Graham Hunt, a friend from many years ago. Pictured are members of the Bristol based Venturers Boys Club on a field trip to the Port of Avonmouth. I remember some of the lads. Centre frame is Jeff Davies - a longtime friend (since 1950).  We saw each other this year. I am crouched down.  I still had hair.  I was a skinny kid - puberty hit me a bit late. I was a reluctant member.  I had no interest in woodwork.  I was 100% inept at Table Tennis.   Being precociously religious I was at home in the semi formal services which were a feature of the Club.
