This and That From Yesterday
In a recent blog post I railed against farmed salmon. It ain't no good!
The other day I was at Trader Joe's and bought Atlantic Salmon.
'Twas when I got home that I read the smaller print.
In truth it was good and showed no signs of artificial colouring. Trust the Norwegians!

My friends D and A in Palm Aire, Sarasota had their power restored a few days ago. Goody, goody. Except that they do not have running water. It may be (my guess) that the roots of a tree moved in the storm and broke the pipe from the street. Misery upon misery - now their out-going sewage is wonky. The plumbers cannot be with them until Friday.

Sarasota Airport has been closed post Milton. Oh bliss. I live in the flight paths and the silence has been golden.
The Airport reopened this morning. The noise is back. BAH! Except that my dear friend Kadi will now be able to fly here from North Carolina on Friday. She'll be with me for a long weekend. That's very good.

How can you lose a walking stick? I did.
At Arlington Park this morning I unclipped Cooper from the device which prevents him from wandering all over the car.
As we set out, I thought "darn it I've forgotten my walking stick". C cooperated as we walked very carefully.
A bit later in the morning I had a vague memory that I'd leaned the stick against the car and that it had fallen down.
C and I drove back to the Park in the hope that some person had found the stick and leaned it against a fence where it could be seen. No such luck. (I have a spare)
It may be that one or other of two the guys and dogs I meet at the dog park had seen it, and is saving it for me. Failing which, a friend of mine has a treasure trove of walking sticks, one or more of which are there for the asking. Her late father was impulsive stick collector.
I make a simple request. All I need is a wealthy friend who will pay for me to have a Valet/Butler. Is that too much to ask?
