Mr Cooper Freedom and Fear
Cooper had a romp in a dog park yesterday morning. He sniffed every square yard (I exaggerate).
Off leash he romped and raced.
He stood in a paddling pool twice. The third time he sat, splashing to his heart and body's content.
Later in the morning we were sitting outside our home. A huge crane made a lot of noise as an air-conditioning unit was hoisted to the roof of a neighbour's house.
My dear boy trembled uncontrollably. He at first pushed himself between my knees, then hid under my chair.
Mr. C is not bothered by the noise of thunder or of fireworks. The noise made by large trucks bothers him greatly.
My dog trainer suggested that singing to C might alleviate his anxiety. I can carry a tune, so I will.
This is what I will sing (especially the chorus).
