Lunch with Jen (and Scott)

 I've known Jen since approx. 1984


She was then a student at Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton  MA, and a parishioner at St. Stephen's Parish, Pittsfield MA

I followed her progress at College (Colgate?); her career, and her marriage to Scott; and their two children.

I am in touch with her parents (Jack and Pat); and her sibs.



Oh how I treasure these holy connections!

Scott and Jen are in the area, enjoying a break on Longboat Key, FL.

Carpe Diem!

Jen, Scott and I had a good lunch together today at the Columbia Restaurant on St. Armands Key.

Good food.   Even better table fellowship. The Christian Gospel is all about Holy Connections!

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT  1.  I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash.  I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
