If You Visit Me In Sarasota, FL

You'll want to go to the Beaches, or (in season) to the Orchestra, the Opera, the Ballet, or the Theatres.  We are splendid cultural hub. 

All well and very good.  

However (and this will not surprise my regular readers) I will insist on taking you to one of my hot-spots:  "Mama G's German Bakery".

That was the case this morning.  My Pittsfield friends Scott and Jen have been in the area for two weeks. It's been so good to see them.

They happily accepted my offer to have a late breakfast with them at Mama G's before they drove to TPA for their flight home.

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is.
