Daylight Savings Time

 Just got a head start by setting my chiming clocks forward.


(Old Picture)  A true Chiming Clock which I've owned for about forty years.  Easy to set forward.

Thank goodness I saved the instructions.  But even with them, it took me half an hour to set it forward.


I keep my watch on the old time until Sunday morning.


Oh for the day when this nonsense is abolished!


P.S.  it will be two or three weeks before that U.K. and Ireland go to their Daylight Savings time

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is.
