I Love To Be Silly

 

In a 7/11 the other day the clerk asked if I had a ('phone) number with them.  (Required for a somewhat dubious "rewards" scheme).

I replied with "My Daddy and Mummy won't let me have a 'phone" -  laughter all round!

On Friday 16th Feb I had a good visit at Life Care with a neighbour who is receiving rehab treatment.

As I walked out I greeted a nurse who was at his station.

He asked "are you a patient or a visitor?"

Across the way I spotted a physical therapist who has seen me many times.

I called out to him saying "I am having memory problems, am I patient or a visitor?"

Guffaws all around.  Someone said "that was a good one"


On line giggles O.K?

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT  1.  I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash.  I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
