The Warwickshire Avon in Stratford on Avon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why the "River River"?  Simply because the word Avon has its roots in a Celtic word meaning River.

The Celtic word finds its roots  in the Welsh Town of Aberavon/ (Welsh: Aberafan)
