Woodlands Springtime in the U.K.

On the rare occasions when we city bound Poveys got out into the countryside and woodlands we rejoiced if we  saw a spring time Blue Bell Carpet.

We'd pick a few, bring them home, and use a milk bottle for a vase.

Picking is now discouraged, or even  forbidden, in the cause of conservation.

That apart, they have a woodland beauty which cannot be matched in a vase.
