Brighten the Corner Where You Are (Povey Huma Again)

Zion and I were walking in Sarasota's Arlington Park yesterday afternoon (Feb 14th).

As we walked north we came across a group of eight or nine of my age seniors who were walking south.

I positioned myself  mid path to block their way.

I looked them up and down and said "oh my goodness, it's the Church Youth Group out for a stroll".

A man said "you've got that right".

A woman said  "boy you are smooth!"


They continued south, grinning from ear to ear.

Zion and I continued north, also grinning.

              Brighten the Corner Where You Are.

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT  1.  I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash.  I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
