OFFICE MAX

My ancient  HP printer  (Colour and Black and White) fought valiantly with Bronchitis and Arthritis to no avail.  It was telling me "I don't want to do this any more".

So be it.   Farewell dear friend.

I decided to replace it with a b/w  Laser Printer since I rarely used the colour feature offered by my old pal.  

Deciding to avoid the congenitally short staffed "B.st B.y,  I took myself to a local Office Max/Office Depot on Tuesday of this week.

It was a good choice.  The helpful and non-obsequious staff member showed me exactly what I needed, and which was within my price range. 

Delivery was promised for Friday 9th, but it happened on Thursday 8th.

Set up was more or less easy. The most difficult task was opening the mailing box and retrieving the contents !  

I have already used it to print the forms I will need for my appointment with EYE ASSOCIATES (regarding  my impending Cataract Surgery)

TYRE KINGDOM

I had what I took to be a slow leak in one of my tyres.  A helpful Tyre Kingdom employee put air into two underinflated ones.  Then he called my attention to all four wheels.  

Golly Gosh, each tyre was devoid of even as much of two mm of tread.   I had been driving with four bald tyres.  DANGER!

TK replaced all four, at a reasonable price and in good time.

My thumbs are up to Office Max and to Tyre Kingdom.

P.S.    If I lived in a sensible State there would be mandatory and annual auto safety and emissions checks.   But the words "sensible" and "Florida" cannot be used in the same sentence.
