A Sound in the City
The Crowing of a Rooster.
There is at least one, or maybe two roosters who make themselves known each morning at Sarasota's Nathan Benderson Park.
One of them could well be from a chicken owner at the south end of the Park.
The other could be feral.
What a great sound on the fringes of the City.
I enjoy this non-City sound, especially because I hear it from distance, and not from a nearby coop!
And because Roosters are so ballsy!
