I was there with my bff Ashley  (and  Zion) for a gig by a local Blue Grass group called Stumble Creek.

I've had various obsessions in my life, e.g. a Model Railway; and Photography.  They usually last for about five years.  Blue Grass and Stumble Creek is my latest!

The fiddle player and singer Sara is the grand-daughter of Joe R (one of the members of our Thursday Zoom group "Black Lives Matter"

When she was four years old, Sara ran into the kitchen where her mother was washing her little sister's birthday cake off the dishes, and she proceeded to pitch a hissy fit that climaxed in a demand for a violin. The rest is history (occasional hissy fits included). 


Sara is a great Fiddler.  Her singing is great. We hear and enjoy pure tones, in both  both soprano and alto ranges.


Now that I am an official Stumble Creek Fan (!) I will wear their Tee Shirt with pride.

This 80-year-old child wore a birthday coronet and insisted on having his face painted. A marvelous family reunion; and the greatest celebration of my four score years.

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is.
