Butternut Squash Soup, with Pears and Apples.

My Cambridge friend Laurie R mentioned that she had made Butternut Squash Soup, with Pears and Apples.  

So I made some.


Indeed very good, but with one caveat.

The recipe called for a tablespoon full of Maple Syrup.  That made the soup a wee bit too sweet for my taste. There is enough sweetness in the apple and pears. I'll not include Maple Syrup next time.
