Yum 2! Toasted Focaccia Bread Well Supplied with Butter and Cherry Jam

 


And yes, the bread is very well toasted by design. Crunch, crunch, crunch.

Fie on diner/cafe toast, made from Wonder Bread and emerging like floppy warmed bread; and  the jelly from those wee plastic containers has but the slightest resemblance to good jam or preserves.

This Photo' Arrived Out Of the Blue: A 12/13 years old jmp and others.

  It came from one Graham Hunt, a friend from many years ago. Pictured are members of the Bristol based Venturers Boys Club on a field trip to the Port of Avonmouth. I remember some of the lads. Centre frame is Jeff Davies - a longtime friend (since 1950).  We saw each other this year. I am crouched down.  I still had hair.  I was a skinny kid - puberty hit me a bit late. I was a reluctant member.  I had no interest in woodwork.  I was 100% inept at Table Tennis.   Being precociously religious I was at home in the semi formal services which were a feature of the Club.
