 Zion and I were at Arlington Park (SRQ) this afternoon.

Our walk  (and his poop) ended we returned to the parking lot.

There we encountered  two thirty-something women with their Sheltie.

The two dogs had a happy sniff-fest.


One of the women said "So this is Zion".

"Have we met before?" I asked 

"No"  said the Sheltie Mum.

"Then", I asked, "How do you know his name?"

"It's your tee shirt" she said.




DUH!

This Photo' Arrived Out Of the Blue: A 12/13 years old jmp and others.

  It came from one Graham Hunt, a friend from many years ago. Pictured are members of the Bristol based Venturers Boys Club on a field trip to the Port of Avonmouth. I remember some of the lads. Centre frame is Jeff Davies - a longtime friend (since 1950).  We saw each other this year. I am crouched down.  I still had hair.  I was a skinny kid - puberty hit me a bit late. I was a reluctant member.  I had no interest in woodwork.  I was 100% inept at Table Tennis.   Being precociously religious I was at home in the semi formal services which were a feature of the Club.
