THE GAP

 


I've made cosmetic improvements to my kitchen.  Cabinets repainted, Counters changed.  (The Blue and The Grey!).

The old dishwasher had to go.  The panel at the bottom, behind which are "the works" was rusting and leaking.

In March I went to my favourite local appliance store ( I refuse to patronise Home Depot and Lowes  -  who ultimately take money out of the community, I  favour of the locals from where  money stay in the community.)

The salesperson at Mullets told me that because of  supply chain issues I could not expect delivery until mid-May.  

It's almost mid May.  True to her word the salesperson phoned today to say that my appliance had arrived.  The installation is slated for Wednesday next.

That crummy gap will shine with stainless steel!

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is.
