The Other Max

 


Friends Bill and Patrick reminded me that they also have a Schnauzer named Max.    He is now three years old.  This photo' shows Zion and their Max when the latter was about four months old.

This Max was a bit more energetic than Susan's (see yesterday's blog).  After the nice nose to nose  (above) Zion walked away, then looked back as if to say,  "I've had enough of your energy, I'm getting out of here!"

Not the best of days HELP! A mistake and a fall.

  I arrived in time for my 8:50 appointment with my Dermatologist.   The Receptionist told me that I did not have an appointment.  She checked the records and told me that my appointment is for Tuesday. I knew that.  Then the light dawned.  Up until that moment I had thought that it was Tuesday, not Monday. You'd think that calendars had not been invented! It got worse. I took Cooper for an early pee walk this afternoon.  He lifted his leg to cue. Then he took a strong and mad dash towards a Squirrel.  I fell down.  And great was my fall. Lots of scrapes.  No bones broken. Pictures not in order. Excuse duplicates. No sympathy please - I was foolish. Fortunately, I had an arm bandage to sop up the blood. It looks worse than it is. BUT  1.  I was foolish in two ways. First, I had taken Cooper on a short leash.  I'd have had more control with the double handled long leash. 2. When he made his mad dash, I should have dropped ...
